When I was trying to decide on a wideband A/F meter setup for my car, I knew I wanted some kind of subtle output display. Therefore, I didn't want a large gauge-type display and preferred the digital displays because I want to maintain a "stock" appearance. I ended up purchasing the Zeitronix Zt-2 wideband system because it's digital display and ability to also support boost and EGT sensors.
I had everything installed a few weeks ago, and just put the Zeitronix digital display unit in the open area under the radio:
The shop that did the install gave me the Apex'i SAFC stand as a temporary mount to hold the display up while driving.
However, I always wanted something that looked a little cleaner and didn't require positioning of the display each time I got in the car. I was always planning on mounting the display somewhere and finally decided on the dash area where the TRAC button is located. So over the weekend I opened up the Zeitroninx digital display, modified the dash piece, mounted the display inside the dash piece, and put it all back together. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

The best part is, the only irreversable change is the modified dash piece. I can put everything else back to it's original state.

Thanks guys.
Solo, the display isn't too low for me. It's actually pretty good for my seating position. If I were shorter or sat closer to the steering wheel, then it may be a little difficult to see. Also, the only other place I was considering to put the digital display was in the coin holder location, but the steering wheel blocks the view. I didn't want to mount it above the center console because I have my JDM dash tray there.
And the car is running better now. It's running a little rich, but I'd prefer that over being lean. I wasn't successful in tuning a couple weeks ago because I couldn't get my laptop to talk to my additional injector controller. As a result, it was a wasted visit to Dyno Labs, and I could've attended the meet at Folsom Lake instead.
So now I'm getting the remaining E-Manage components installed (injector harness and pressure sensor with harness). That way I can just drop the Split Second AIC1 (additional injector controller) and tune the car with just the E-Manage. When I get the car running well, I'll have to post about my car since I'm still fairly new here, even though I've met a couple key NorCal people already.

That looks simply amazing. Just imagine if the rest of our dash lighting was in that color motif!

Thanks for the comments.
flipside, I agree, it would be pretty cool if everything was color matched. I thought about just putting on a red/orange tinted piece of plastic/acrylic instead of the clear piece I have on there now. I just don't feel like re-cutting that piece. I got lucky and the first one just fit really well, so I didn't want to mess with it anymore.
I also don't want to go through the trouble of swapping out all the interior LEDs, etc. (Not yet)

Not yet. I haven't had a chance to take a video. It's hard to drive at the same time and hold it steady.
I do have a video from Zeitronix of it running in another car. I'll try to take a short vid with someone else holding the camera. I'll need someone to host it though.
