very nice man. actually if you use some paint thinner, you can already take out the yellow on the fogs

I haven't heard of using paint thinner, but many people also just use high-grit sandpaper and wet sand the yellow out.

I don't believe that the whole lens is yellow because I've known of a couple people who have sanded out the yellow. However, maybe it was different depending on model year. It takes a lot of work though. Here are some pics from an old tutorial from is300gtr on IS300.NET:

The tutorial stated that you start with 120 grit sandpaper, then move to 220 grit, 400 grit, 600 grit, 1200 grit, and wet sanding.

I see. I'm pretty sure that the fog light lenses are not yellow all the way through. I'm just going off of seeing the results of sanded lenses in person. It's probably not something I would do to my car; I would prefer to use the RX lenses or get JDM fog lights. However, the yellow fogs have kinda grown on me know.

by sanding the lens you decrease the lights output.just get rx lens ,make it easy for yourself.:

I agree with you there. I don't think it'd be worth the effort to sand down the lenses. However, if someone doesn't care much about light output and just wants clear over yellow fogs, then this is probably the cheapest way to go.

i am curious why it would decrease light output? if you sand it rough, then go to 180, 220, and eventually wet sand with 2000 you get pretty much a clear lens?
