If you have a '02+ unbolt the armrest ('01 skip this step). There is a piece of felt at the bottom of the storage area, pull it up to expose 2 phillips screws (4 for '01). Pop the auto shifter console (or shift boot) by pulling up to pop out the tabs, there are 2 phillips screws under there. Now move the seats all the way back to expose 2 screws in the side of the console.
Take your time and get someone to help you so you don't scratch up your dash.

I actually have a 2003. I am simply trying to replace some junky RCA's the place where I got my system installed at put in. So any help you can give me to get to the back of the radio would be real helpful...

ok, just pop out the trac/heated seat button tray at the bottom of the radio (friction fitted). There will be (2) 12mm bolts there undo them. Now you need to remove the dash tray/ navi. Pry up the lint tray or flip up navi screen/ tray lid and expose a cover hiding 2 phillips screws, remove them and pull the lint tray out the way you pulled out the trac button tray. This will expose (2) more 12mm bolts, remove these. The radio/ ac controls (these are mated together for now) are now just held in by aligning pins, pull straight out and have a partner remove the harnesses from the rear of the panels. If you try to remove the harnesses and hold the radio you are going to gouge up your dash so you may want to put some masking tape on the area around the radio before you pull it out.
Let me know if you get it
