has anyone tried installing the TTE front spoiler w/ the combined mesh grill on their IS300? does it fit properly, or did you need to make some modifications to make it fit correctly? what's your overall impression of the unit, as far as quality & construction are concerned?
thanks.

I was just on TTE's website and it said:
"All TTE tuning parts are also suitable for the Japanese model "Altezza"
That means you have to remove your 5mph bumper like you would for a altezza body kit. After you take that off It would fit perfectly

that's what i was afraid of. i love the look of the TTE integrated bumper/grill though...very sporty. don't think it's worth it though to make my car illegal to have on the road. not to mention, if i was ever in an accident, my insurance policy would probably get cancelled. c'est la vie...
how do you like your TIEN HA coilovers, by the way? i was thinking of going with those when/if i get my IS300.
how about the 18" rims? any noticeable difference in handling, grip, ride comfort as opposed to the 17" rims?

I had a body kit on for a while but I took it off. I didnt like the fact that I had to remove the the 5mph bumper. Here is a pic of what you would have to remove to get the bumper to fit.. the whole metal bar:
Here is a pic of my old front bumper
I love my coilovers. Have had them for about 4 months and I am still impressed with them. Handling is awesome. I would recommend the teins to everyone
As far as the 18's I cant really tell you. I got them so quick after i bought my car that I never really drove on my 17's. The tires are still new on the 17s. But I can say that my car handles really good. I want to get different wheels soon though and get some light racing wheels.
