There may be some hope even for Bangle. If any of you have seen the upcoming 1-series (his latest design), it looks like his best effort yet. It doesn't even have the I-Drive on its base model.
Anyhow, back to the IS300...the thread topic. One area where the IS300 soundly beats ALL of the competition, with the possible exception of the Infiniti G35, is in reliability......a very important area for a lot of people. Only the Infiniti is anywhere even near the IS300's league here. Even the Acura TL lately has become questionable in some areas......primarily transmission-related.

Just wait until the genII IS comes out. The BMW will get owned in value, handling and performance. Will definately get owned in looks since BMW is changing the look of the 3-Series to make it look like there other models looks.

people couldn't believe the capability of the e60 until it came out, and then magazines they are all surprised by what the m5 can doread, not that i am ditching lexus, but imho if lexus can improve, so can bimmer. and to be honest, while i think toyota has the ability, bimmer still has the best driver feel so far

The reason I said what I said in my previous post was because the IS is already beating the 3-series overall when it comes to value. funny, the other day i was looking at prices of cars, and i found out that low mileage 330i they are still in low 30s... damn... i got my is300 fully loaded NEW for low 30s...
