I'm getting the RMM rear lip spolier. I also have the SRT intake and I really like it.

is300girl,

RMM rear lip spoiler is the perfect choice. If I had the $$, I'd get one (this teacher has little extra cash!).

What changes have you noticed with the SRT intake?

We, who live vicariously through other's mods, would like your views. Thanks.

The RMM will be mine, oh it will be mine. I'm just waiting for Uncle Sam to cough up my income tax refund. Hee hee.

As for the SRT, I didn't know exactly what 12HP (give or take) was really going to feel like, but it definitely feels a little faster than before and the sound is great! People always turn their heads because it really "growls" now. The sound is barely noticeable at cruising speed, it's only somewhat loud when you accelerate hard (which I tend to do often ). I'm actually debating getting an exhaust because I like the sound of the SRT alone so well. Also, my MPG has improved slightly as well, from around 18MPG to 20MPG. Good thing since Chicago gas prices are the highest in the country! $2.34 for premium in the city! OUCH!

Hey Lucky, I got the IS GIRL license plate here in Illinois too!

I'll post pics once I get my lip spoiler and my plates.

The 12 horses feels like more due to the additional torque. Really helps out the little 3 liter engine. I got a chance to really push the IS3 last night on a solo run. Handling is awesome with the SO2 pole positions and new lightweight wheels. Completely predicatble, none of the greasy feel and I could barely even peel the tires even with the SRT intake installed (power shift on and trac off). Has a nice growl to the exhaust note, none of the tinny sounds that you get from a Integra or Civic with a folgers coffee can.

The nice part...getting 22mpg overall. That's with Shell gas which I've noticed burns faster. (Less mpg) With Amoco it's a bit better. Lightweight helps! IMO, forget about the obnoxious 20's, fat tires and overdone body kits. They add weight and slow ya down!

Take a look at the L-Sportline kit. It's polyeurethane. We have an article on it; the link is top right corner on the main forum page.

Default reply to my own question

just to let everyone know my shop just became a Rod Millen dealer. I've got great pricing on their stuff. As for the lip spoiler, I was just looking for something with a little more something.
