hey can someone plz tell me wat is the difference between the HKS dragger 2 exhaust and the HKS hiper exhaust (ie. sound, price, looks, gains)

Price: Relatively the same, but you can get used ones for around $200-300+

Sound: Hiper is louder than Dragger, and the Dragger has a deeper sound, both have drone

Looks: Dragger has a larger diameter tip and comes out straight when looking at the rear of the car; Hiper comes out at an angle and has a slightly smaller tip, there is alost a carbon fiber version with Ti tip

Gains: About the same, Hiper is supposedly 8-9whp and Dragger is 7-8whp (you won't be able to feel the difference between the two)

how ricey do they sound... i dont want them to crackle and sound ricey like the folgers/maxwell house can mufflers.

Dragger pass JASMA standard, so sound level should be resonably quite. I don't know about Hiper, so you should ask b4 you purchase. Race version muffler don't have JASMA badge on it and all of them is terribly loud.

Currently I'm running Dragger on LS400 and it was very quite.

i have the hiper and i am happy with it. it's not that loud. i bought it for $340 new at superautobacs in stanton

i have the Carbon-Ti and i love it. Great throaty sound, not ricey at all.
