I got mine cause the IS is a great car, howver they are getting to be a dime a dozen, evrywhere you look there is an IS, the wagon handles just a click uunder the sedan but actually has better weight distribution. Its plent fast ony .2 in the quarter slower than the sedan. So you got a mid high 15 second station wagon that will out handle a lot of the entry level luxury sedans on the market. plus room for a sub woofer a bike and you might actually squeeze in you suitcase 2.
So a lot of us guys like the sporty, and over all considering they only made about 3k and popularity is sky rocketing (hence the fact everyone is in a rush to pick out a wagon now including the new evo IX wagon) The value will be there...
the front body panels seem to be interchangavle but the back doors seats ect in the wafon are a little different.

It was a toss-up for me, I would have got the SportX if it were for as good of a deal where I found my MSM IS300. But some of those modded SportX look really clean.
