if all maintenance done, 60 is still good i say. anything more than that i think y ou can start thinking it of high mileage

but that doesn't mean the engine will be beat, just that you start to see some wears imho

I just want the car to run for 4+ years without hardly any problems. I won't be modding it... well maybe minor mods, but i jus need a new reliable car for college.

I bought my car last april with 68.5k miles on it. The guy was rich and it was one of many cars he owned. He didnt take good care of it at all. Since then, however, ive had absolutely no problems with it, and its awesome to drive. THe only thinks i have done are routine wears like brake pads, windshield wipers, etc. Really awesome car if you ask me. Ive put a little less than 8k miles on it since then. Anyways, a LEXUS is a LEXUS, well its really a TOYOTA but that makes my argument stronger. I know people with 01's that already have in excess of 120k miles on their is with absolutely no problem so you should have a big issue with it!

Cool

I agree, if price is one of your major concerns........under 60k is good. Make sure all service records are available however.

My first Lexus was a pre-owned 93 LS with 55K miles and traded four years later around 95K and not a single problem.
