Default IS spyshots with new wheels in Australia
Posted on .NET. Thought some people not frequenting it there may have missed it.
Hopefully neither of the two wheels makes it into the production though.

The fronts aren't bad, but the rears are busted.

As someone in the .NET thread pointed out, the rear is most likely a totally fake/tack-on one, as seen on the LF-A test mule spotted at Nurburgring. Just look at the gap between the license plate and the bumber.

Yeah the rear wheel is fugly, I hope they won't be used on production cars.

OTOH, those wheels on the IS220d in Geneva looks very good.

Why do they even need to diguise it now btw? Those are taken before Geneva ?

If I read the original thread starter on .NET correctly, these spy shots were indeed taken before the Geneva show. Only that the photographer decided not to reveal it until now for some unknown reason.

Most likely because they don't want a pre-production test vehicle on the streets to be mistaken for a production vehicle, thus preventing dealerships from getting bombarded with people wanting to buy them now? Just a guess
