if you take apart the dome like area and take out the assembly, you will see the power wires that go to the mirror for the compass and the autodim.

Why would you want to disconnect it? You like having a bright headlight beam hit you in the eyes at night?

My windows are tinted, the dimmed mirror makes it a little too dark sometimes. As for the compass, I want to use a wide angle mirror.

ummm, there might be, but given the limited knowledge i have on the car, that's the only way i know

from looking at the dome light module setup, i THINK the mirror is getting power off the same module for the moonroof, domelight, maplights... if that's the case, then it might be more than just a fuse
