Where did you get the wires for this with the proper connector for the particular LED's you used?

I have seen this one http://autolumination.com/74.htm - but they don't have them in blue LEDs.......

I bought some 14 gauge wire from Pepboys and solder(sp) the LED directly on the wire.
and wrap everything with heat shrink tube.

I guess you just don't push the LEDs so far in.

but if you flush mount them, they will turn into some sort of spot light, not illuminating the surrounding areas.

I've tried sanding down the top domed part of the LED, which makes the light spread out more evenly.

did sanding it down work out well?

yes, the light pattern is not as focused on one spot, if you know what I mean.
you get a slightly wider but dimmer light pattern.

This is true, but keep in mind you lose over 40% of your light output when you diffuse an LED.

"other" creative means have been taken

PS- is it just me, or does everyone like the door handle mod the best?

my next mod is LED on the center overhead console, the map light / sunroof switch area. like the LS in the pic
but I still can't figure out a way to mount the LEDs without getting blinded by them.

I want some light shining down, but I don't want to see the light source...... any suggestions?

O.L.T. congrats on your new SC4
