HELP ME PLEASE!!!
when i drive my is300 w/ trac off it seems to shift fine from 0 to 20 with normal acceleration , BUT WHEN it shifts to about 40. there is a HUGE LONG pause!! ITS LIKE THE CAR CANT FIND THE 3rd GEAR or something!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!
im not totally sure what this problem is, though i think it is do to the TRAC/ECU problem... but i would like to know if anyone else has encountered this problem and specifically what it is....

PLEASE HELP ME~!!! IM FREAKING OUT!!!

I had that problem. When accelerating hard the car sifted into third really hard. When the ECU fix came out they reprogrammed my ECU and Gave me a new trac unit. Check your VIN. When I got the car back everything was OK. The car rides perfect now.

i heard and got all the info on this back when it wasnt a problem for me..
but i also heard from a well informed lexus employee that by fixing the trac/ ecu problem., it can slow down ur IS300

so i am hesitant to do so...

you guys quit whining if you dont like the way it works have it fixed if it works fine shut the hell up.it wont slow your car down and if it does a little you wont notice it so all you guys need to quit your bellyachin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
