Not too difficult, but a bit time consuming because the throttle body and intake plenum are kinda in the way. Here's a nice tutorial that was written up at my.is: http://is300.net/forums/showthread.php?t=243325

Default Article on changing plugs

Thanks for the very detailed instructions . After reviewing them I decided that I am not a mechanic and will have to pay the $ 108.00 in labor to Lexus to do it. Thanks!

It really isn't that difficult. Changing the spark plugs is really all I've ever done "mechanically" on my car. You just need the right tools and some time. Hey, I've never even changed my own old. (Mainly because I think it's too messy. )

How much are the spark plugs supposed to be gapped? I bought a set of NGK Iridium IV and put them in today. I noticed I had tons of oil in the wells. I soaked it up and burned what was left so now its clean. I noticed I was getting misfire at idle. My friend tells me the plugs must have not been pregapped so now i have to do this all over again.

I'm pretty sure the stock gap is 0.043, but if you have forced induction, then it should be between 0.025 and 0.028.

you were charged only $108??? was that for the plugs only because it's $600+ everywhere here to get your plugs and wires changed. luckily i did find someone to do that plus 1 coil for $660, including tax and labor, etc.
