how similar is Avalon 3.0 to IS300s?

how similar is Avalon 3.0 to IS300s?
I have a Avalon with the 3.0 V6, how similar is this engine to the IS300s? Can turbo's designed for the IS300 work with on the Avalon? I realize the tubing will probably have to be changed because it's FWD vs the IS300 RWD but what about ECM, intake, etc?

The Avalon uses the 3.0V-6 from the Camry family. THe IS 300 uses an I-6 from the Supra.
In other words, your engine is shaped like a V, with 2 sides of 3 valves each. The IS engine is 6 cylinders back to back.
My suggestion is to check out toyotanation.com and see if the TRD supercharge can be bolted onto your Avalon.
