Default Suspension Issues

Hey IS300 owners. I tried to do a search and came up empty handed. I was wondering if there is any truth to the rumor my GF is spreading around that there is a suspension issue on the IS300 that causes the tires to wear out faster than normal.

not that i know of at all

the alignment on the is300 could be very sensitive coz' of the suspension design, the place has to know what they are doing, specialy on the camber and the toe. sometimes even lexus dealership can't do a good job

the only thing that a lot of the IS300 guys complaing about is the inside wear of their tires
typically due to the minor-to-moderate amount of negative camber
but that's a common issue and unfortunately part of the overall suspension design/set-up
in fact, the lower the car, the worse it gets
but w/ proper alignment by a knowledgable shop will minimize it's effects

actually in some cases of the inside wear it's due to the wrong toe settings alignment shops put on

That is why I took my lowered car to Custom Alignment. It cost me $200+ for a four wheel alignment and worth every penny.
