hey there people. just wonder if some of u bought plp front strut tower bar? well, i just wanna know if it comes with diagram? or how to install it? i receive no diagram at all when bought from them. the problem is, there's 2 electrical harness bolted to the either side of the strut towers of my new 05 is300. and i want to relocate them specially the right strut tower harness? see the pictures below.

the left strut tower harness (yellow) ? i can't, it has 2 legs bolted to the strut tower. the right strut tower can be push to its right side allowing the strut bar to sit on location.

Do what everyone else does, take it off and throw it away. DRLs suck.

huh is it safe? no glitch will get involve in the electrical system specially the car electronic functions?? that device could probably programmed in the electronic system of this vehicle. removing it might cause electronic failures in some part of the car. tell me more about this. link me to a lexus is300 technical site if there's any out there that explains it safe to remove. thanks!

no, it's nothing more than a big piece of resistor for the day time running light. you can disconnect it and just use electrical tape and cover up the harness. no warning lights no nothing

but i am not sure about the "drl sucks" thing though, i kinda like it. if i have the choice, i would keep it too

lots of guys unplug the DRLs becuz they don't like the color of the lights
but many have done the full power DRL mod and changed the bulbs to a higher K value so as to make the lights look more whiter

Don't know if you have figured this out yet or not, but I decided to add my $.02...

I was with Justin (LCA) on the "DRLs suck" issue, so I removed mine. As for the other side, I removed that, and bolted it to the grounding point right next to where it was originally, then I bent the bracket a little and let it sit there. Hope this pic helps.
