I just got my A'PEXi S-AFC from Japan, and I'm thinking where should I get it install? Also, how much would they charge me (including dynos)?

i've talked to people at area 51 regards to this before. they quoted me at 180 with dyno.
and i don' t think that's too bad...since they know what they are doing.

Here's the number of Area 51... 949-472-6320, $180 sounds great to me. I also heard that Dynamic Autosports in Lake Forest is also doing the installation, but I have no chance to call them since I'm out of the states. Anyone can help by calling them is appreciated... here's the number 949-457-1234.

I talked to Dynamic Autosports when I was looking to get an AFC, and they quoted me like over 300 something for install and dyno tuning. They overcharge for a lot of installation work. I wouldn't go to them. Go the Area 51. They seem like a reliable source of parts and a good place to get your installs done- esp. for AFC's.

i remember reading a post on .net about it...

if it's the same guy, i think he only used a drop in air filter (blitz i think). if that's the case, 13-15HP is not bad at all. like risk323 said, no extra noise from hi-flow intakes and cool things to look at courtesy of apexi.

question: do you have to re-tune the afc when you add/change your mods?

thanks.

thanks for the info guys.
I have intake and exhaust, so I might get even more than 15hp at the wheels with S-AFC?

I think if you add/change mods relating to air and fuel controls, then you do. Like intake, exhaust, etc. If you get new down pipe, new filter, etc, stuff like that.
