Maybe i'm crazy but here goes.
i live in NE - winters can be harsh, so when i was talkin to my dad about gettin one of the lexus' off his lot(watertown, ma)(not SUVS), he mentioned to wait until 2002 because there is going to be AWD versions of the IS. He's the manager there so I trust he knows what he is talking about, anyone else heard rumors like this? That japanese article seems to lead to 4wd in the IS wagon, but i dont want that - im 18 and i dont need a wagon

i've actually heard that the autocross will have AWD but it will be an option..as of now the ones that are being made and shipped to the USA are RWD and the AWD will be out shortly after that.

Boy, I hope so! I've got a depost down on a SportCross and really want AWD ....
