My Bridgestones when their time is up will be replaced by tires I buy from the Tirerack.com site. I was wondering who I would take 'em to to mount them. Then I though of my local Lexus dealer (JM Lexus). They have new mounting machines and balancers. Anybody already gone this route with their dealer???

Can't hurt. But you'll pay through the nose and there's no advantage. My dealer gets $72/hr. Nothing special about mounting tires.
Go to a GOOD tire shop and save the $. Make sure they can do alloy wheels, have a 80 mph+ spin balance and are reputable. Have them look at your wheels with you before they start to confirm they are unblemished. This way if they do damage something you have proof they did it.

I did not have Lexus install anything on my car.. I went to a good year... also you might wanna think about this.. what size wheels do you have and tires... if they are 18's or bigger I doubt Lexus will have a MAG machine to mount them.. I went to goodyear.. and they did a fine fine job

You want a shop that has a balancer that also checks road force. I would recommend the Hunter 9700. You want your road balance to be less than 10lbs. A road force balancer checks to make sure the wheel and tire have no run out. Remember, any wheel can be perfectly balanced, even if it's bent. But that bent wheel or out of round tire will still cause a shimmey. A road force balancer will match the tire to the wheel to create the perfect balance. Many dealerships have these now.
