Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself... My name is Chris, and I'm on "The List" for a 2002 Spectra Blue Mica IS300 w/ standard transmission. I'll have it by October, with any luck.

I came to the dark side from the Honda tuning scene, and I'm looking to do some research on performance upgrades for the IS. I would like to turbocharge it and possibly tune the suspension, but I want the outward appearance to remain stock.

I would appreciate any feedback from anyone experienced with modifying the IS, or perhaps some links to sites where I can find information or parts to browse. I'm definitely interested in TRD or L-Tuned products.

Thanks.

Well when I bought mine. The Lexus dealership here offerred a sports package that I decided I wanted. My IS came with the rear spoiler, 18 inch SSR Integral GT1 wrapped in Michelin Pilots, matte black emblems and buch of other lilttle things. The car looks great. Oh yeah it was also dropped with H&R springs. And the dealership said it is all cover by the warranty.

Hate to break it to you, but the 2002 isn't going to have the Spectra Blue Mica color...they are changing to a slightly darker blue for 2002. It will be nice though.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I've been to the sites listed already. SRT has me interested in their intake, though their supercharger is a touch pricey.

I've seen mention of TRD swaybars before, I'm assuming for the Toyota Altezza. I'd like to get a set, but I'll need to wait to make sure the '02 is set up the same. I may have to wait on aftermarket parts to be developed first.

As for the color... I don't mind if it's a darker blue. I just want my blue IS.

Has anyone here already turbocharged their IS?
