Exclamation

My dealer called to inform me my IS300 has been recalled to replace the undercarriage shield beneath the engine. I don't believe all ISs are affected by this (now) official recall. Mine was delivered September 2000. I believe IS300s made later had the reinforced attachment from the factory.
I just thought it was interesting that many of the early ISs had lost their undercarriage shields, but Lexus had not actually recalled them...until now. I guess the power of the internet works again!
I'll be comin' in to see you soon, DevilDog!

Looking forward to it! Call me and let me know what day so I can say HI!

FYI to all IS300 owners, when Lexus does a Special Service Campaign we always fill the owners car with gas. So when you bring it in, make sure your on empty! hehehehe.

What is a Special Service Campaign? Is that fixing a recalled part or the like? And what fuel do you refill with? Premium or Standard? What if we have free valet service and we leave it close to empty when they come to pick it up? Will you fill it up?
