For you IS300 owners out there, don't you just wish that the IS300 was larger and not so small? Sometimes I think the 4 doors are just too crowded and a 2 door IS300 would be just perfect, similar to the 330ci coupe. I know it's supposed to compete directly with the BMW 3 series, but Lexus didn't have to copy the inteior size specs of that small BMW too. Should have made it larger.

This is why I think the competition will still get an upper hand. Even the TL & Infiniti (which is not as nice as the IS300) is a larger car and both have much more HP than the IS300. (Type S & 2002 I30).

Size does matter at times, since you have to bring clients or friends with you and they just seem all crammed up in the back.

Default IS larger - nah

I think it would take away its personality. The GS 430 would give you the larger size you're looking for with positive performance characteristics. The IS is the much nimbler of the two cars because of its size.

GS430 is the way to go and the Lexus V8 is not that bad in guzzling gas, pretty efficient for a V8. It is the ultimate in sports sedans, just have to afford the high price tag.
