Hi everybody. I'm new to this forum and i gotta say it's awesome. You guys are experts. I am from Toronto, Canada and need some advice. I am looking to buy an 02 IS300 manual. Very hard to find right now, but was told more would be avail in spring. Is there anything i should look out for or are there any issues with the 5 speed?(especially used) How is the RWD for winter driving? Should i buy from a private dealer or from a Lexus dealer and rest assured? My friends are telling me i am nuts for spending $22,000-$25,000 for a used car. What's your opinion on this? If any one can help, i'd appreciate it
Thank you
Thank you

- deifnitely try the clutch. it's not that easy to work with imho. i have heard couple of cases of the clutch sticking. most of the time it's due to the device that holds the clutch if you release the clutch too fast, but it's annoying
- no clue on winter driving, given i am in cali
- if you buy it from private, of course has to be more careful. it's a tough call
