I installed my Area 51 BB today, I noticed a diffrence but how can you tell that it is working? Will I get a check engine light if it wasent working???? pls let me know

You could have done a pre-install and post-install dyno runs to get the most accurate information.
Other than that, you have to rely on anecdotal information in the way of improved throttle response, freer revving engine and maybe improved gas mileage.
The check engine light would not be a good sign that the unit is working and most likely indicates problems w/the engine.

Hmm.. let's see... it's been a good month now and I've received one e-mail from them.. saying that it might be on backorder.. MIGHT BE?? *****.. it betta be on backorder!! But.. I didn't get the Area51 Intake.. just got the black box ECU. This will help modify the air/fuel mixture that desperately needs help right now.

You may want to do some research into the "resetting" issue. Apparently, the ECU needs to be reset once the black box is installed in order to function properly. I've read posts of resetting every 3k miles.
It has to do w/OBDII continually trying to reset the AF settings to factory.

i'm confused!
hey guys,
its getting more complicated now. i just ask if you have had problems like the check engine light came on after installing the area 51 intake system ( including the ECU ) i am really confused on which i'm going to get between SRT and area 51. or just forget it bacause i'm afraid that i'm gonna mess up my car. i have the money now and i'm just waiting and gathering info/facts whther to install or not. and whhich one.
