Default Is300 M

for the new 2002 IS300 Manual owners, I was just wondering how much discount you recieved off the sticker price.. My sticker price was 34,055 and i was able to drop it down to 33,000 after arguing for about an hr. Just feels like I could've paid less especially knowing the fact that a lot of the 2001 automatics were sold between 3,1000-32,000..

What kind of options do you have? You probably got more than I did.

Hey all...I purchased my 2002 IS 5 Spd on Aug 18th. I payed sticker price: $33,600 and they would not even consider a discount. Fully loaded except Nav system. Mine is black with black escaine.... Does anyone else out there have a Black 5 Spd yet???

Whats up MastaTibz? What dealership did you get your car from? Sounds like you got a pretty good deal for your car considering the fact that the 5-speed 02's just came out and it's hard to deal down on the price when they first introduce a model.

Welcome to ClubLex IS_5SPD. Your probably one of the first in the area with the 5-spd 02' model.

I bought my car in Lexus of Silver Spring in Maryland. yeah it took me awhile to even get this kind of discount even though I was the 4th person to get refered to this place.
Me: There is no way i'm going to pay full sticker price for this car
especially knowing the fact that most people I know who
got their cars here paid the price between 31000-32000 for
their automatic 2001s.
Manager: We sold 5 IS300s within 2 days right after they came
out. So if you don't wanna buy this car, I'm sure We
can sell this car by tomorrow "STICKER PRICE"
so I told him straight up
ME: what a ****ty Customer Satisfaction...
then right there he dropped down a thousand dollar not including the destination charge, shook my hand and walked out.

But I still think I paid too much... o well.. but its ok because like I said.. I love the car!! =)

The sales manager was Jason right? I went to the same dealership. From my experience, they have really good customer service there. Congrats on your new IS!

Its hard to talk down the price of a car when the dealer knows they will sell it in one day. I bought mine as the delivery truck was rolling into the lot. Especially the manuals, the demand is so hot they could probably charge over sticker and still sell them.

When I bought mine, the salesman took 1000.00 off before we even sat down! Then after I told him he was going to have to come down even more, he went down another 1200.00! He practicly begged me to buy it!
