High Beam replacement - Mt# 9005
Can anyone suggest a good set of bulbs to replace my existing yellowish 9005 High Beam bulbs? I was trying to locate something similar to the purplish color of the low beam OEM bulbs. Thanks.

I came across this reply you gave to another member about high beam replacements " DRL is the one in the high beam. it's the same bulb as the high beam but it's running at 50% power during the day. no matter what bulbs you put in there, it's going to look pretty yellow during the day (unless you do something crazy that i dont' recommend)
One more ? The only reason i want to change the high beam as you already been asked this ? a million times, is due to the yellowish color they display during the day. Do the piaa extreme white and razo platinum white zero bulbs give off a yellowish color during the day? If they do, any other options? Thanks again. DC

Does anyone know if Nokya is a good brand to buy? I'm mainly replacing the high beams for the look during the day since i rarely use the high beams at night. I was looking at a pair of Nokya Artic White bulbs at 7000k/ 65 watt output. I'm leaning towards the piaa thanks to rominl. But at $70 it makes me think twice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thks.

Are the PIAA Super Plasma GT-X (Color Temperature: Approx. 5000K,Power Consumption: 60W High Beam but perform like a 110W bulb) safe to put in my 02 is300 without damaging the clear headlight lens? I'm trying to make the high beams display more blue light than white(and definately yellowish) during the daylight hours.
