Help with Pricing an 02 IS 300 sport design
Apart from Sport Design The car has 36k miles, leather seats, moonroof and is an automatic. I dont think it has any other options.
This is a CPO and the Lexus dealer is offering 21,500.00 without the CPO and 23,000.00 with CPO (starting price was 24,000.00). I'm going back to negotiate with him and wanted to know what folks felt was a good price.
I was thinking of getting an 02 with many more miles on it for 15-17k but it would be nice to have a newer car at a reasonable price and presumably the Sport Design is more fun to drive
Let me know what price you think I should ask for and how much extra I should consider paying for a CPO.
Thanks!

This is an 03
Sorry I made a mistake - this is an 03. So mine has more miles on it, no nav but it does have Sport Design, leather seats, automatic transmission and a 3 year 100k warranty. Or he would take 1,000.00 off if I didnt want the CPO warranty
so does that sound like a good, bad or ok deal?
It seems like a good deal to me but I'm looking for feedback. It's below KBB, Edmunds and NADA values and lower or as good as anything I can find on cars.com, autotrader and craigslist, plus I have more peace of mind not wondering whether I got gypped as might happen with a private party or small dealership.
btw, how long do the tires last? They're Bridgestone Potenzas, I havent asked whether they are all seasons or summer...
