Q: does anyone know if getting a 'performance' o2 sensor makes a noticable difference to anything ... or should i just get the cheapest one around?

I am also plagued by the "check engine" light. Diagnostic indicates "P0161", Sensor 2, Bank 2.
Does anyone out there know which specific sensor that this relates to?
I am no mechanic, but it looks like there are 4 sensors on this car......two on right side of the engine (front and back), one in the exhaust before the cat. converter, and finally one in the cat. itself...or what looks like the cat.
At approx. $150 a pop, I don't want to buy the wrong part. Thx. for any help.

In your case I think the Sensor 2 Bank 2 is the other OS that mounted on the the other manifold.

Just to follow up......I replaced Sensor 2, Bank 2. It is the one in the exhaust pipe under the car....attaches to an electrical socket under the passenger seat. It was a bear to get to, but I managed to do it. Saved about $120 in labor, but the part was a killer at $185. Anyway, check engine light has gone out and stayed out.
