You should see the review in Sport compact car. The jest of the article says even though the IS this year came with a 5 sp, really your not missing out on the performance difference between the manual and the auto. Yes they did say that it was quicker from 1st to 2nd, but after that the time difference were the same as the auto tranny. Bottom line the article said that were not missng much between the auto vs. manual, and they wished it had 50 more hp added on to it.
