Where is it, do i have to buy pass it or can i just find the amp turn on? is there a harness that can be used-cause from what i have found there isn't anything...I'll get pictures up as soon as it stops snowing and can get all the salt off the car..

Factory amp is behind the glove box, mounted towards the passenger side. Behind the dash part.
If your gonna run aftermarket head unit, you have to completely unplug or remove the stock amp. You have to replace the rear speakers because they don't work with aftermarket headunits/amps. If you have oem navi, you have to retain your stock amp, due to the fact that the navi system runs off of the stock amp.
Now, the wiring harness... You have to cut up your stock ones, since there is no plug-n-play harness for our cars.
It's a rather big project compared to other cars, but good luck and post some pics when your done

Now why wount the Rear speakers work?? If the wires run up to the amp you should just be able to run new wires up to them too right?? From 3 1/2 yrs workin in car audio i haven't ever seen where a pair of main speakers other than tweeters not work after replacing factory radio....just seems a little weird...thanks
