FINALLY...got this squared away....will take better pics tomorrow, these were taken at dusk tonight...I think the hood compliments my L-tuned kit very well...I will also be getting dynamat heat protective tape and coat the underside.....what do you all think??

inspection sticker is for a COLLECTORS CAR, as I have it registered as such. I only really drive it during the spring/summer, 45 degrees+

What was the weight savings compared to the OEM metal hood?
Are those figs struts lower-powered compared to the OEM hood struts so that they don't bend the frp hood? Where did you buy them from?

not sure of the exact weight savings, but its alot...
the stock IS300 hood only had a stupid stick prop, no gas powered struts like every other damn lexus....so, I bought them through: www.figsprops.com they are specific for carbon fiber/fiberglass hood

I just went on the site and they have the hood props for CF only for your car, not my car.
