Upgrade to IS300
Hi Everyone, I live in the UK and own an IS200SE Auto 2001 year model. Here Lexus has just released The IS300 and I am contemplating buying one Can anyone give me reasons not to.

I'm not sure what horsepower/torque the IS200 has, but the IS300 is rated at 215/218 at the motor. In my personal opion, unless there is a significant hp/torque difference between the 2 cars, I would just stick with the car you have now. Thats just my opinion, others might tell you different.

IS200-IS300-turbo
I wsa in a similar position as u.. I drive a 99 IS200 auto. I test drove the IS300 and was hooked by the power difference.
But selling the car I would lose a few thousand dollars, then I have to chip in more to buy a IS300. Thus I spent my money on a turbocharger for my car to get it up to near IS300 specs without modifying engine internals. But one I get use to the power I will strenghten the engine and run higher boost.
Overall this is a cheaper way than selling car and buying new one.
