This will be my first thread here. I'm starting my search for my IS300 soon. I just gotta fix my current car to get it ready to sell. So here is the question of the day. I wanted to know if its rare to find a white exterior / black interior IS300 with a manual tranny. Maybe its just me, but I guess when you're actually in the market, its harder to find the car you want. I've found more white with tan interiors than black interiors within my price range...

Good luck :| I did a search on Autotrader.com. I tried a 300 mile radius from several different Texas zip codes, and only found one in Sheridan Oklahoma, but it has a tan interior.

It might take a while to find the car you want, as it did for me. it took me over 5 months to find my IS. i gotta graphite grey Pearl 2003 with manual and black with light gray piping in the inside....good find, but like i said, it took me a while, and since i wanted manual, it took me even longer because they are more rare. but like i said, just keep searching, soon enough ull find it. also i would suggest to ask all the local car dealerships to give you a call when they get ahold of an IS, thats what i did, and a dealership happen to have my car!.....Good luck bro!

Yeah, it took me 2 months of searching all over southern California to find mine, and I had to drive 150 miles to pick it up.

right about now I'm doing a search everywhere. I won't mind just flying out and driving it back...even 1200+ miles. Only thing thats holding me back is price range. I have to keep it between 15-17k...that severely limits what I can get. Unfortunately I might have to settle for a tan interior. Atleast I can try to find a total'd IS300 and swap the interior parts... I still have a while to find one though. I don't need the car right away...just starting the search now...

I found my Silver Exterior/Black Interior/Manual on Autotrader after searching for almost a month. Had to drive about 5 hours to pick it up but it was WELL worth it.

Welcome to CL! You're just gonna have to do the whole "patience" thing, which is tough when youre searching for an IS.

Luckily, I found mine within 1 day of searching. As a matter of fact, took me 5 minutes. Don't worry, it'll show up sooner or later, just keep the mental image of it in your head and it will somehow miraculously show up somewhere. Good luck!

Of the times to find it...I just found one 1300 miles from my location...it sucks that I'm not gonna be ready to get it for a few more weeks...:-(

That is what I call a unicorn...hahaha...so is it just me or are there alot of silver is300s around...

A 1st Gen IS in that combination is a rarity. CWP, 5spd and all Black Interior... goodluck. I was able to find one 5yrs ago after an almost 6month search. When I went to the dealer I was shown the figures on what combinations of IS300s that Lexus built and less than 3% were in that combination.

Yeah...alot of black interiors are automatic and alot of manual are beige interiors. I just hope this one isnt too far for my parents to say yes to it. It sucks still being a dependent.
