Hey, I wanted to start a topic on how many dings you guys have on your cars due to damages incurred by disrespectful, mindless people. These are probably the most frustrating things that can happen to your car, especially when you care alot about it and the fact that it costs rediculous amounts of money to fix dem.

I have a total of 11 dings.

Damn, 11?!? I'm back up to one again. Luckily a small one. I had none until recently. Every now and then they run a special at the dealer, and last time I got 3 panels for the price of 1. Couldnt pass it up.

i dont have a huge issue w. my door ... but my hood is getting trashed

theres SO much construction around here - ive got 4 rock chips

and i have one gouge from some stupid suv opening its back door into my hood [you kno how back doors on suvs are ... w. the funny door shape]

No door dings, but I just had an accident the other day. I was sitting still in traffic when all of a sudden the lady behind me just ran into me from behind.

She either accelerated, or let go of the brake. Either way she didn't stop after hitting my bumper, she kept going pushing my whole rear body inwards. So my back bumper is fubareds, and my taillights sticks out like a ****.

Yeah~ it sucks dealing with insurance and what not, but at least I don't have to pay for it...

i've had a couple ppl hit me too [not in my IS tho, in the suv i drove b4] and it's not fun at all

My door dings got fixed thru dealer, but lots of rock chips and what not. . . And late friday/early saturday morning my car got egged. I washed it right away and noticed that the paint was damaged by the egg shell breaking on the panel. wish i had a camera so i can take a pic. Damn this soft lexus paint.

I have had my 02 for 2.5 year and only have one small door ding. It is my daily driver but I am very careful where I park.
