How do u use it?? after u put it in E shift- there are 2 down buttons, they only shift down???? how do i shift back up??? also when i shift should i let realese the gas pedal or just go ask normal but just shift??? THNAKS!

ok look on the BACK OF THE STEERING WHEELL!!!!
SEE THOSE OTHER TWO BUTTONS!!! THEY SHIFT UP!!!!!...

 

The up shift buttons are on the other side of the steering wheel, behind both of the down shift buttons. And you can just put the gear in M mode and shift up and down as you please and you don't have to let go of the gas pedal to do it. HAVE FUN!!!!

Jesus Christ (forgive me for using the Lord's name in vain)!!! People, chill out. Most folks probably don't read their car manuals unless the have maintence issues. The first time I got into an IS, I looked for the "UP" buttons too. All 2001LexusIS300 wanted to know is how to use E-Shift. There's no point in posting sarcastic/unhelpful messages. We're here to try to help each other out, not be asses to one another. Jeez...

I'd go back to the dealership and shoot your salesman for not showin you tha goods. Or let me guess, you didnt even test drive it?!
