Unfortunately for me when parents are calling the shots...you usually don't always get what you want. I wanted the is300 but they couldn't justify paying 18k for a 60k mileage car. I could but they couldn't. So now I've been deterred from getting an IS300 until I graduate atleast. For now I'll be stuck again on the sidelines watching the mods of other is300s. I'll definately continue my search when I get out of school and become independent. I'm stuck with this for now though...

The 4runner was my old car that was being traded in. I already know it's not as powerful as the 2jz. I could tell even though its brand new. I never knew the first IS300 I test drove 2 months ago would have been my only one. Time to count down for 3 years now. Thanks for all the input though. I'll definately be lurking CL for now.

That TSX should handle very well. One magazine test driver said it reminds them of the 3rd Gen. Maximas, the generation that Nissan labeled 4DSC (4-door Sports Car).

I used to have a 3rd gen maxima, and boy can it handle the twisties!

My buddy just picked up a blue TSX manual and had the A-spec body kit added on. Nice little car.

Fortunately for me I used to go to so many forums I searched my email and found out that I was part of TSXClub.com. Unfortunately for me I wasn't able to get the 6 speed version because my parents can't drive stick and they're driving the car first before I get to drive it. I'm stuck with a Toyota Highlander for the next 2 months. Atleast I can finish working on my condo in the mean time. Going to homedepot and buying stuff to bring home in a TSX would not be fun. Atleast there is an upside to things...I did get a new car
