LAGGish feel in gas pedal??
heyy idk if anyone knows how to fix this but im pretty sure its common in all 2000-2005 is300's....when u push the gas pedal down...it goes down about a half of an inch before it actually gives the car any gas....because i drive manual, this is beginning to bother me....ive had the car for 2 years now and i have taken it to the dealership many times and have complained about this "play" in the gas pedal....the dealership has inspected it many times and have told me the same thing over and over, "pedal was inspected at owners request and is working properly as designed"....is there any possible way for me to fix this problem myself???!..thanks for any info

if your over at .net any theres a toturial, but long story short, look where the cable comes out of the firewall, where it connects to the pedal there is a white plastic piece with a spring in it, use either a zip tie or a r/c car shock spacer i think a 10mm one is the right size, to keep the spring from functioning. that should do the trick. ill look for the thread and post a link.
