Someone in this forum mentioned that they used a BOV (Blow off valve) with a supercharger on a 2001 IS. Does that mean automatics can also use BOVs and still make the loud PSSSSSTTT sound? Or are they only reserved for manuals let alone only with a turbo set up? Every freakin car in Japanese race videos have turbos with BOVs. Sounds so sexy dammit!
just checking, but what's the status of SRT's supercharger for the IS300 ? is it still in the prototype stage, or is it ready for sale ? is it one of those things where you have to be either near SRT to have them do it, know of a good mechanic, or do it yourself ? i mean, how many people have the SRT supercharger, that didn't go to SRT ?
does the SRT blow off into the atmosphere or back into the intake?......you dont really hear it when it blows back into the intake like you would on a toyomoto kit where it goes to the atmosphere......Jeff
ok i got a question...you say yours does...but does a stage 1 or stage 2 SRT kit blow off into the atmosphere?.....or back into the intake pipe?.....Jeff
