Snow again: Limited Slip Differential, required?
Still toying with getting a SportCross for my wife. I did the request-for-bid-via-fax thing, and got an agressive price quote on a blue SportCross w/Nav. The potentially fatal flaw: no VSC or LSD. It also has the 17" wheels w/summer tires, but I was figuring on snow tires in the winter anyway.
So... would it be a really stupid idea to get a SportCross without LSD and/or VSC in New England? Anyone drive an IS300 in snow/ice without those extra features?
