First car with HID '97 Lincoln Mark V ?

Hey, do remember the first car you saw with HID ? It was early 1997 when I saw a Lincoln Mark V in Seattle, and the Japanese car scene really hadn't started yet, I saw the HID lights and I was like WOW

I must have those on a car someday.....now, I'll never own a car that doesn't have them...there so cool !

yes they were one of the first cars to have the HID's

I think BMW 7-series was the frist. I know the Mark VIII was the first reflector HID system, and Neon rear tailights.

I think BMW 7 series (92) was the first car with HID over here in germany.

I'm pretty sure Mercedes S and SL class were the first cars in the world to have HID headlamps.

No I believe S-Class got HID in 94-95. Sl was actually one of the last Benz with HID. I'm 99% sure that BMW 7 series was first car in production with HID.
