Unhappy my guage cluster isnt working.

what works;
rpm, volts , temp guage

what doesnt work;
mph , mpg guage , gas needle reads a little more then what i actually have.

some say a sensor is unpluged.

Something similar to this happened to me a few months ago...my Gas gauge wouldnt give me a clear reading of how much gas i actually had...all i did was take out the 3 philips head screws that hold in the gauge cluster ( 2 located on the front plastic piece right above the MPH gauge and another under the ignition) and i took the cluster out....there is a conector that snaps on and off from the back of the cluster...mine wasnt all the way on (i have absolutely no idea why) so i pushed it on and my gauge has worked perfectly ever since...this could be the problem with yours but i dont know..hope this helps
