..let's face it, the IS is pretty weak under the hood (stock). Everyone should be happy that the G35(and others) are coming because it'll pressure Lexus to offer some real power for the IS - like maybe the TRD Supercharger as a factory option.

 

blown I REALLY hope it does pressure Lexus. I hope it pressures them enough that they will allow the TRD supercharger to compliment the warrenty on the car, rather than destroy it. If they do that there the sales will be MUCH higher.

 

ok well even if they do release the TRD sc. it wont give you even a decent amount of power....maybe 250 rwhp... if you are lucky,... aftermarket is still the way to go.!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah the G35 has every one shaking in their boots... Because everyone knows that Nissan makes the best 6 cylinder engines in the world(the have the awards to prove it for about 15 years now)! And the thought of a 260hp Infiniti/Nissan small sport sedan without any t/c or s/c is a nightmare for some...

With the G35 coming to the market late it had the chance to see the comp. and build on it's comp strengths and weaknesses... Typical Japan, that is what made Lexus King... Maybe this will spark Lexus to PUMP more power into our cars!
