Well... I have heard about the shifting problem in cars with high HP number, so I was wondering if I put a stage 1 supercharger kit(about 250rwhp) + NOS. Would the shifting problem occurs even if I don't use NOS when the auto tranny shifts? Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I have no knowledge about this.

The auto tranny will definately handle that much HP. There is another thread around here that talks about it, and if I can find it I'll post the link. You can run 285 with the basic auto for sure. The number 285 might have been 385 in the thread I'm talking about though.

I'll tell you more when I find out, or if anyone else knows I'm sure they'll respond.

Here is the link I was talking about. They don't actually talk about Auto tannys though. I thought they did, and they might I just skimmed over it rapidly looking for those numbers. For the stick there appears to be a power range that is problem free, basicly up to 480. Check that thread out and see if it's there. And if it is, tell me ;-) I'm really considering putting in a Stage 1, maybe Stage 2 SRT into the car. Maybe the Stage 1 TRD if it comes out.

ok well how big a shot of NOS are you gonna put on yor car? do you have a stage 1 SC and which one are you lookin to get ? also it is all relative... if you are gonna do a stage 1 and get 250 rwhp. then throw a 75 shot on top you are playin with fire... cause let me tell ya if you are in high rpms. and then the car dont shift... and you still have your NOS on... man oh man.. you got a good shot at detonating your motor...
