For quality job, definitely go to XS.

 

if you got an auto and going to XS make sure they can address that nasty shifting Issue

 

and if you've got an IS, and going to SRT, make sure they address that nasty super charger issue

 

i think the kinks with stage 2 are cool now..

 

What were the previous problems? I know OCIS has the stage 2, and he hasn't told me about any problems.

 

who is OCIS? that is what i am tryin to figure out.. lol and the stage 4 needs a standalone stage 2 dont... much less power and boost

 

He is another guy down here is Orange County. I have yet to make it over to his place to check out his SC though. Hopefully soon though.

 

As for SAFC Tuning goes...... Def. Hit up XS since they did TURBOIS car and he is running a SAFC and AVCR in his car. As far as I know they havn't had any problems with tuning the SAFC on IS3s. Any way As far as Area51 goes they are good guys and do good work..... just make sure they know how you feel about the whole deal......they'll take care of it.

What the heck r u tlkin about? Ask the other dave about it. I dunno what sonic and them are telling you, but i was never mean to them? And i dont see how lexus could have fried it, because i drove it away from the dealership? After talking on the phone w/ one of ther techs, he goes, " Oh, and i forgot to say, i just remembered when i hung up the phone..." Whats that about? i just remembered after i hung up the phone? Why r u getting so upset? I"m not talkin smack or any of that? And newbie, maybe, but what am i supposed to be? What did i do to them? There's no reason to be gettin crazy... I didn't talk bad about A51. I helped bring them customers... U remember the meet? Or wut up w/ that? I've never said they do a bad job or anythign like that, i said i didnt know the problem. There is a warranty or supposedly on Apexi. I've never been mean to A51, maybe cuz i'm not all that outgoing they think i'm mad or sumpthin, thats just me, cuz i'm not like jumping for joy, that i didnt like it? Well, thats just me. I told them i liked it, and i duno whats wrong. And i never did anythin to tony or chuck or anyone at A51.

If anyone cares:

SRT has completed & officially closed R&D regarding our Supercharging Kits. We did have a past issue of some internals needing to be replaced, but all of that has been solved.

marken so does that mean there is a final release of the SRT stage 1-2? like these units are ready to roll and can be openly sold with no problems... I am jsut trying to clarify this so I can correctly answer any SRT SC question about sales...

Yes we have started taking orders, but official release date is 03/19/02. And we are already booked until 04/15/02. Go Figure.
