hello, i have a 03 is300, the car did not come w/ the OEM navigation, however, i did find and purchase the OEM navigation (screen, brain) is it possible to install in the is300, i was told the 03 was pre-wired for the navigation, can anyone confirm this, any help on how/ what i need to install it would be great.

there is nothing prewired for any optional audio or video system on most lexus. the 98 gs wasnt even wired for a cd changer if yoiu didnt order one from the factory. there is not one lexus model prewired for navigation if not orderedd from the factory. lexus is in the business of selling new models with navigation not retrofiting navs in older models. they will say its not possible but with lots of strudying the wiring and lots of time making an retrofit harness it can be done.
