Hi,

Is the Lexus IS300 key shell the same size for 2001-2005 models. I was interested in buying the Chrome L'd shell on ebay but the auctions are saying that they fit the 2002-2005 models. Mine is a 2001. Although, another auction for the Gold L says that there shell fits the 2001-2005.

Is there a difference in key shell sizes or are they all the same?

within the 1IS it SHOULD be the same ... that said i bought a shell of another member and his was from an RX, i had to do some sanding inside the RX shell to accomodate the IS electronics

my guess is you should be ok

There are different key cases. They look the same but might not fit. be cautious make sure you ask them if it specifically fits the IS key. other models have the same looking key but actually are designed differently
