Car is starting to shake pretty bad!
Hey guys I have notice the car getting worst and worst as each day goes by. When I'm driving speeds of 45 to 70 my car starts to shake pretty bad and esp when I brake, then it shakes like hell. I've been driving the benz for the last week and going to bring the car to the shop in a few days.
Any ideas whats going on before I do?

No I have stock rims on the car. I'm just order 2 tires for the front cause its starting to go bald. I recently replace one of my rims because it was bent pretty bad. I might have another rim bent. Yikes!

check your rims ... but more likely your tires are really worn
don't replace just the 2 fronts ... you really should do 'em all ... but if you're only doing 2 move the backs to the front and put the new ones on the back

I can almost guarantee that it is your brake rotors. Have them re-surfaced or get new rotors. Had the same problem and those sound like the symptoms of your rotors wearing out. Hope this helps!

Nope you can not machine those rotors... Thats what sucks about slotted rotors! But they dont normally get warped THAT easy! You Should check for a bubble in one of your old tires! When your struts/shocks start to go out it starts to shake at higher speeds, but you would feel a big difference while your driving when hitting bumps! Just some opinions hope they help!

Thanks Tucker, I will know a lot more in a few days. The tokcio shocks and springs has been on there for 4 1/2 years. I'm pretty sure its the tires. I will let everyone know by the end of the week.

Hmm...forgot to mention if you had the rotors already replaced before I mentioned the advise. Well, if that is the case, then no, you can't re-surface them and maybe the problem lies within the tires. But, I'd still check the rotors before I move on to the next step...cause sometimes, just sometimes, you might have some bad rotors to begin with in the first place. G/L and I hope you get things fixed up!

Well guys I just got back from the shop. I replaced all 4 tires with BF G-Force 225/45/17 and got a full alingment. It doesnt shake as bad anymore when I drive but at any speed when I hit the brakes it still shakes. Now can this really be from the rotors I just bought 6months ago? I should of stayed with stock if so....
