Default Something weird going on

I need some help. I've got a 2002 IS300. I took it up in the mountains yesterday-- about 250 miles. I got off the highway and stopped at a light. I made a right turn and it felt like the passenger side right tire was breaking loose. There was also some vibration that seemed to be coming from the rear end and a kind of "whurring" sound coming from somewhere up front. I wasn't getting on it- not even a little bit, so the tire did not break loose and the vibration and noise were totally out of nowhere. When I made a left turn from a stop, it did the same thing. It kept doing it until I got home. When I turn right or left while moving, it work fine. It's only when I turn from a stop that it happens. I took it out this morning and it did not do this until it was warmed up. Then it started doing it again. It almost feels like a slipping in the differential. I have no clue about the whurring noise. It didn't sound like a belt noise. It was more like a fan winding up. Fairly high pitched. Anyway, has anyone experienced this? Should I call a priest?

I would check/change the rear differential fluid asap.
