Got My Headers And Intake!! (UPDATED PICS!!)
Picked up my toyomoto headers and SRT intake for $350 yesterday..everything looks great (dont worry...i got the AAFC as well for the intake)...headers are a little dull though and i want to shine them up before I put them on...does any1 know how i could go about doing this?? they are shiny in some spots and kind of dull, brown and rusty looking in other spots...how can I get rid of this dullness..(I want to be able to brush my teeth in those things ahha)

im planning on installing the intake tomorrow...anyone have an actual picture of the AAFC that is already soldered to the car?..i have the diagram...ide just like something real so that i can visualize it better...i am a little concerned again now because I just looked over the install instructions provided by Swift Racing (https://www.msu.edu/~rocgilbe/SRT.pdf) and there are two different wiring diagrams for soldering the AAFC...also my AAFC doesnt have a harness clip thingy with it...its just straight wires from the AAFC box...is this an issue?..are the wiring diagrams different for every year? any info appreciated...thanks

INTAKE IS IN!! AAFC IS IN!! Everything works PERFECT..NO CEL!! WOOO..I felt a very noticable difference in throttle response, and exhaust noise!..also felt a little "peppier"..sounds amazing at WOT!..overall VERY happy with this intake and would definately recommend it to anyone who wants an intake..the AAFC was a little tricky to install but the directions were actually prettymuch straight-foward..WILL POST PICS LATER THIS WEEK! Thanks to everyone for all of their information and support!

well I guess it was trickier for me because I had crappy solder..and picking out the correct wires and stripping them was a little confusing..make sure you look at this (https://www.msu.edu/~rocgilbe/SRT.pdf)and ull be able to determine which diagram to follow...for me it was the 2002 wiring diagram and I have a 2003..goodluck~!
p.s. This might be common sense but I almost forgot to do it. After soldering all of the connections and before you replace the black cover over the ECU, connect the battery and make sure the car starts and once started look for any smoke around the connections and feel the connections for heat..just to make sure nothing goes wrong in the future..

Cleaned the Filter!
This little thing really makes a difference!
And it fits perfectly under the stock cover

excellent job!
i installed mine today. took a trip to home depot though cause the guys at swift racing forgot to include the 2 large couplers(throttle body, and front inlet)
oh well though. i did the mechanical side. my dad did the electronic side.
lets just say that even with the heavy wheels it still runs well.has a slight difference in the sound of the engine.
thx for the push there on the srt intake. im glad i caved to peer pressure.

You bought the intake used right? I noticed yours doesn't have to baffle plate in front of your scoop piping. Supposedly many others have said the early versions were like yours and got CEL's because it either sucked in too much air or hot air etc... It never really made sense to me. I was curious how your experience was so far. How long have you been driving w/ it?
